Construction progressing on the complete renovation and basement excavation of house in St Johns Wood Conservation Area, Westminster

Construction is progressing well on the basement excavation and complete renovation of this family home in St Johns Wood. The property has over 100 m² of new basement created beneath the original footprint and has required that all upper floors are replaced to facilitate the excavation. All underpins have now been created and the final stage of excavation before the basement slab can be poured is now underway.

The ambitious construction project is scheduled for completion in the spring of 2027 and with the main structure now complete we are looking forward to the installation of the internal architecture as the designs are fully realized. The build has been the beneficiary of an aligned construction approach between the design team and main contractors RJHolland.
