Wimbledon planning approval granted within conservation area, Merton

Alex Tart Architects has secured a Wimbledon planning approval for a detached 5 bay garage to the rear of the garden, within the Wimbledon West conservation area, as part of our wider work on the Lingfield Rd Property.

This approval marks the latest in a number of developments to the property including a rear extension and side return at the upper levels. A coach house will also be added to the site.

The house’s position within a Wimbledon conservation area and the fact it is locally listed, required a sensitive approach in order to secure planning approval. Several trees on the property are subject to tree protection orders, which needed addressing as part of the successful application.
