Alex Tart Architects have operated as Wandsworth architects since our foundation and have, through our numerous projects, fostered a useful working relationship with the Wandsworth planning and conservation departments. A recently completed house within the Wandsworth Common conservation area included the complete refurbishment of the town house in addition to the formation of a new basement, ground floor and roof extensions. Following the submission of a high quality design to the planning authorities, Alex Tart Architects skilfully negotiated approval to increase the gross internal floor area of the property by approximately 60%.
